By using Subtle's website, prototype, waitlist, API-backed features, or app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Subtle.
If you use Subtle on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
what Subtle does.
Subtle helps you track subscriptions by reading receipts, billing pages, screenshots, and similar materials. It may extract service name, amount, billing cycle, next billing date, and related fields.
Subtle is an organizational tool. It is not a bank, broker, accountant, cancellation service, credit repair service, or financial advisor.
your responsibility.
AI extraction can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing extracted fields before relying on them. You are responsible for deciding whether to keep, cancel, dispute, or change any subscription.
Subtle does not guarantee that it will identify every subscription, renewal, price change, or billing date.
waitlist and prototype.
The website and interactive prototype are provided for evaluation and product preview. Prototype interactions are simulated and do not create real subscription records.
If you join the waitlist, you agree that we may email you about launch updates and important product changes. You can unsubscribe or request deletion by contacting support@subtle.page.
user content.
You should only upload or share receipts, screenshots, and other materials that you have the right to use. Do not submit content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or intended to interfere with the service.
You keep ownership of your content. You grant Subtle the limited right to process your content only to provide, secure, debug, and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.
acceptable use.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or attack Subtle systems.
- Do not use Subtle to process content you do not have permission to use.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, payment checks, or security controls.
- Do not use Subtle for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
purchases and subscriptions.
Paid access is planned to be handled through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Apple may process payments, refunds, taxes, and subscription management under Apple's terms.
If Subtle offers an auto-renewing subscription, you can manage or cancel it through the app or through Apple's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect according to Apple's App Store rules and the billing period you purchased.
availability and changes.
Subtle may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the service. We try to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features described on the website may change before launch.
intellectual property.
Subtle's name, logo, design, software, text, and other materials are owned by Subtle or its licensors. These terms do not grant you a license to copy, modify, resell, or redistribute Subtle except as allowed by the app, website, or applicable law.
privacy.
Your use of Subtle is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.
disclaimers.
Subtle is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these terms may not apply to you.
limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Subtle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed renewals, billing mistakes, or subscription decisions you make based on Subtle output.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Subtle in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you paid nothing.
changes to these terms.
We may update these terms as Subtle changes. If changes are material, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice through the website, app, or email.
